Mission is one of its most typical villages, exuding the charm of Anniviard with its raccards on pintails, its shingled roofs and its facades made of old planks blackened by the sun. A few minutes by car are enough to reach one of the 5 resorts in the valley: Grimentz-Zinal, Saint-Luc-Chandolin and Vercorin. Sierre is 20 minutes away and Sion is 35 minutes away.
In summer, there are 320 km of magnificent hiking trails to cover admiring the peaks of more than 4000 m, mountain bike trails, high mountain races, paragliding, bungee jumping, via ferrata, swimming pools, wellness, and the many restaurants offering local gastronomy. The view is magnificent: snow-capped peaks, wild forest, the villages of Grimentz and Saint-Jean.
