The isolated hobby object in the hamlet of Finilu, almost 2000 m above sea level, is about a 45-minute walk from the mountain station of the Stalden-Gspon cable car. It is served by a wide, well-maintained hiking trail. In winter there is snow and the chalet can be reached by snowshoes or skis. The cottage is insulated and can also be used in winter.
The cottage was built in 1863 as a barn-stable. The transformation into a cottage began about 30 years ago. In recent years, the development work has been carried out entirely by the owners and is of good quality. The chalet is habitable and does not require major work, only the floor of the balcony could be redone. The roof, for example, is in good condition. On the west side of the chalet there is an annex that belongs to the municipality. On the east side, there is a dilapidated stable that the municipality has to dismantle.
The pleasure of living is underlined by the neat condition of the chalet, the quiet location with distant views of the beautiful mountains, the garden as well as the prestige of an independent and clean object.
